La Romana International Airport present at the Encuentro Anual Romanense 2014 in New York
Recently, the “Encuentro Anual Romanense 2014” (Annual Romanense Encounter 2014) was held at the Grand Roosevelt Ballroom in Yonkers, New York, a party which celebrated the Club Unidos Por La Romana’s 10th anniversary, and was sponsored by the La Romana International Airport.
This gala party brought together more than 500 Romanenses residents in New York State and all around USA, who strengthened their bonds of friendship and danced to the great merengue of Johnny Ventura.
Recognitions were given to distinguished Romanenses residents in New York, including; Mrs. Nurys de Oleo, Senator Adriano Espaillat and Dr. Manuel Ramón Canela Escaño, Founder of the Clínica Canela in La Romana who was very honored and moved when thanking for the recognition.

With the aim of increasing the participation of Romanenses / Dominicans in the JFK-LRM-JFK route, the La Romana International Airport announced that all those who come to La Romana between December 1, 2014 and February 28, 2015 and also notify it via the web site www.romanaairport.com in its contact section, will receive the following attentions:
- Poster greeting with special assistance at their arrival by the LRM Customer Service team.
- Free transportation in taxis from the airport to anywhere in the city of La Romana, courtesy granted by the La Romana airport.
