Andrea Bocelli choses La Romana Airport for his arrival into the Dominican Republic

When the world’s most famous tenor, Andrea Bocelli, flew into the Dominican Republic for a concert in Altos de Chavón, we were honored to welcome him into the country from the tarmac of the La Romana Airport, Casa de Campo.

Andrea Bocelli flew in with his wife and family in their private jet, a Hawker 900XP, and in addition to being welcomed by the sunshine and warmth of the glorious Dominican Republic, they were also greeted by Rafael Torres, President Casa de Campo Resort and Daniel Hernandez, general manager of the Casa de Campo Hotel.

After posing for a quick photo opportunity, Andrea Bocelli and his group were escorted through our private terminal and onto Casa de Campo, where they enjoyed a fabulous few days relaxing in paradise – enjoying Casa de Campo’s facilities, such as Minitas Beach and the equestrian center.

Of course it wasn’t all rest and no work for Mr. Bocelli, who also performed at the Altos de Chavón amphitheater on Saturday evening the 4th of April to a full house of more than 5,000 fans.
