First GOL flight brings 155 tourists from Sao Paolo

Last Sunday the 7th of December, we were very happy to welcome 155 Brazilian tourists from Sao Paolo to the Casa de Campo – La Romana Airport. 

This flight was not only the first GOL flight to arrive to Casa de Campo – La Romana International Airport, but also the first flight from Brazil. Welcome Brazil, we are very happy to have you!

The inaugural GOL flight was met by a traditional water salute, as well as Claudio Silvestri, Chairman and CEO of Premier Resorts and Hotels alongside Andres Fernández, Commercial Director of La Romana Airport, as well as members of the local press.

As the 155 Brazilian tourists stepped out of the aircraft and into the brilliant Caribbean sunshine, they were greeted with the warmth of the Dominican culture, in the form of a perico ripiao band and a group of dancers dressed in traditional Dominican clothing. There’s no better way to start a vacation than with the contagious rhythm of mergengue!

The GOL flight will arrive on a weekly basis from the Guarulhos International Airport in Sao Paulo, Brazil to Casa de Campo – La Romana Airport at 14:45 Sundays, departing again at 15:45 on the same day.
