Cultural Enrichment at Altos de Chavon
Also known as “The Artists Village”, Altos de Chavon is a vibrant cultural community perched above the Chavon River. The cobblestone paths, coral stone fountains and terra cotta buildings create a magical effect.
It was designed and built it in the late 1970s to emulate a 15th century village in southern Italy by Architect Roberto Coppa, who at the time was a Paramount movie set designer. Altos de Chavon is known for great shopping, excellent meals, unique cultural enrichment and so much more. It’s an experience you can’t miss.
Marina Casa de Campo
Famed Italian architect Gianfranco Fini created a modern 400-berth marina that has become very popular within the Jet Setters who cruise the Caribbean.
On your visit to Marina Casa de Campo, you will discover a lush retreat of unsurpassed elegance and breathtaking beauty, along with a wide array of shops and restaurants combined in an ambience that provides relaxation, all this complemented by a prestigious yacht club.
Top of the Line Golf
Golfing all year round is just another of the perks of the Dominican Republic.
World renowned courses located in resort areas are a definite option for both the serious and the recreational player. The east coast of the Dominican Republic is home to some of these renowned courses like Teeth of the Dog, Dye Fore, The Links, all in Casa de Campo, La Cana in Punta Cana, and more! Don’t miss out on this opportunity to play good golf in the nicest weather!
Sparkling Beaches
The best beaches in the region are on the eastern coast of the Dominican Republic. They are not the best just for their breathtaking beauty but also for the wide variety of things to do. For example, you can take Catamaran Trips to Catalina Island, relax at Dominicus Beach, go fishing in Bayahibe, or be adventurous by windsurfing in Casa de Campo’s own Minitas Beach.
Whatever your personality is, or whatever the purpose of your trip to the beach, you have it all in the east part of the Dominican Republic.
Adventure trip to Cueva de Las Maravillas
About 30 minutes away from the city of La Romana boasts a 240-meter footpath that takes you to a majestic journey 25 feet underground, where stalagmites and stalactites appear like enormous chandeliers in a theater hall.
It also holds inside a collection of approximately 500 rupestrian paintings dated hundreds of years old. This is a must see for tourists who visit the Dominican Republic.
